Our Fees


 

These help pay staff wages and the expenses of running Village Medical. Payment on the day of the consultation is appreciated. Payment can be made by numerous means including Cash/EFTPOS/Cheque or Internet Banking. Please ask the Receptionist for Bank account details. Overdue accounts incur additional fees to over administration costs.

Prescriptions will be avaliable the next working day. We deal with a high volume of repeat prescriptions so when leaving a message please clearly state your name, phone number and the medications required.

Please note that we do need to follow careful guidelines for safety and legal reasons. You will still need to be seen by the Doctor at regular intervals.

It may be necessary for the practice nurse to talk to you to clarify whether or not you need to be seen by the Doctor, or are due for any blood tests or other investigations.

There may be a small charge for services such as blood pressure checks, dressings and other nursing interventions.
